VW Funerals using the ‘Final Transporter’

I have frequently been asked for a non-black vehicle as a hearse, and I have also been asked to supply a VW camper as a hearse vehicle.

Two years ago, I bought a green VW Transporter and went about converting it into a hearse. I spoke with 8-Ball, who are a VW conversion specialist near Hull. I gave them the ideas and they built them into the van. The result is the ‘Final Transporter’. It’s a lovely addition to the fleet and is as far removed from a traditional hearse as you can get.

It’s the only VW Transporter converted for this purpose in Scarborough and the North of England. Being purpose built for the job, it has all the required safety features to keep the coffin safely in place.

The VW has been used by Funeral Directors in Scarborough and also other Undertakers outside of the Scarborough area.
